Completed something new this week. Relieving really, I was on a pretty rapid writing trip through July, but the block came back right around August. But here we are, with something new that I’m enjoying. Short song called “Men of Words”. Upbeat tempo, a little insightful, a little nonsensical, but I think most all, I’m happy with how it feels like it could have more behind it.

I enjoy how it works by itself, but I’m particularly excited to see how it sounds with some people behind it. I’ll have to try running it over at a few open mics and open jams. PS: Arts n’ Drafts this Thursday, Friday, Saturday! I’ll probably have a bit more to say about that tomorrow. Keep an eye out.
