Greetings! And welcome to 2012! I hope you’re as excited to be here as I am. It should be fun.

Alright. Down to business. Resolutions. I checked back to last year’s new year post. Just as a refresher, it went a little something like this:

“I resolve to make the best of all opportunities granted to me. I resolve to be more open towards the unknown. And most importantly, as the musician I am and the musician I hope to be, I resolve to find and create more and as much adventure as should be in the process of my journey.”

Quite an ambitious fellow, that 2011 Tommy Link character was, wasn’t he? The big surprise to me is that I managed to keep it.  To be fair, I was never really the type to make a committed resolution to begin with. Having this blog probably allowed me the first chance to go back and be like “ah, so this is the craziness I promised myself in January”. Considering everything in the past year, I didn’t do half bad. Relatively speaking, that is. In comparison to some, my year could have been considered tame at best. Still, we’re moving forward at a pace I’m comfortable with. So rather than thinking of something new for the sake of thinking of something new, I’m renewing this resolution.

Early 2012 already has some projects on the horizon, and I plan on keeping my eyes and ears open for all and any opportunities. So thanks very much to everyone who made 2011 what it was for me. I hope I did my part in making worthwhile. Next?
