Wrapping up a splendid vacation in Huron, Ohio. Always hard to come back from that, but the good news is there’s some great stuff waiting back home for us. Another great Songwriter Sunset lined up tonight, featuring Scarlet Ledbetter front man Kieth Wilson, as well as Pittsburgh singer songwriter Ben Valasek.
After that, this weekend brings some mighty fine excitement.
The Gathering at Chaffee’s begins this Friday (26th) in Girard, PA. Kicking off around 2pm, the music keeps on going well into Saturday night. We (as in Strangers and Liars) will be performing on Saturday afternoon from 1:05pm to 1:55pm. Along side us will be plenty of old friends and excellent acts (Shotgun Jubilee, Broke Boland and The Dirty Pickles, Claire Stuczynski and Friends, and Falling Hollywood just to name a few).
When it comes to vacations, parting is always such sweet sorrow, but at least there’s some excellent things to be getting back to.
