Well, it was a lovely run I had going through the summer, but sadly, I did in fact miss a week in updating my blog. And it couldn’t have been a more exciting week to skip over! Strangers and Liars had an excellent show playing along side Potwhole, the new blue grass group on the block consisting of Matt Boland, Christopher Wayne, Abby Barrett and Digg it Dave. I also got to be part of a spectacular show, the likes of which I’ve never been a part of before, but I intend to double back and tell you all about that soon. For now, let’s look forward shall we?
Three days, three big to dos this week. First, this Thursday (August 22nd) the Songwriter Sunset marches on. Our songwriters for the night will consist of Gabe Poland (with his guest star, brother and band mate Josiah) and Matt Texter.
Friday (August 23rd), Strangers and Liars will be out and about in Edinboro again, playing at Gooddell Gardens from 7 to 9pm.
Then, this Saturday (August 24th) this biggest of big things going on this weekend: The Hatch Hollow Gathering!

Strangers and Liars will be returning for our second year performing at the Hatch Hollow Gathering. We excited to see both our bands of close friends that are to be jamming as well as some of the newcomers. Big thanks to Eric Semelka and Mary Beth for putting together such a stellar event. We hope to see you there!
