I have been fortunate enough this far into my life to not have lost anyone close to me to an addiction, but the degree of separation is a very small one. Many friends have lost friends and family, and while the losses have not been personal for me, they are still tragic and sobering.
In this age, our technology can be our greatest tool and enemy. Don’t let yourself be isolated from those who need your help and those who can help you. The ability to find help for yourself and others is at your finger tips. There are already some many who die so young. We could do without one more way of letting it happen.
